Annular Solar Eclipse
The solar eclipse occurs at the beginning of the New Moon. In this case the Sun and the Moon will be in Aquarius, the sign in which Pluto is also located. Aquarius is the sign of the age we are entering. It is a sign of renewal, independence and autonomy that promotes brotherhood and unity among beings of different species and, in turn, among beings and the elements, and Mother Gaia. The eclipse will occur with the Sun and Pluto in a favorable aspect with Uranus in Gemini. This means there will be a great deal of air energy in the environment. Air is our mind, which will lead us into processes of reflection. The harmonious aspect among these three planets gives us the opportunity to open ourselves to the truth that dwells in our being; it will touch intimate fibers of transformation and will pose questions to us about the meaning of our existence and our task as humanity. It will touch our dark and luminous zones. The result will lie in our capacity to move through these zones, without judgment, with immense love. Its effects will begin to be felt 48 hours before the eclipse and will remain present for the following 14 days after the eclipse. Are you ready to embrace yourself in totality? With your light and your shadow? Tiredness, low energy and a sense of weakness in the calves may appear. Grounding exercises, walking barefoot, contact with nature and drinking plenty of water will help us greatly. The eclipse is an interrupted energy that helps us let go of what we no longer desire in our life 24 hours before the eclipse and while it lasts. 24 hours after the eclipse has passed, the energy starts up renewed and we will be able to open ourselves to receive what we desire and deserve. If the eclipse’s band passes over your area, you should wait 48 hours before beginning anything important. If we know how to use it, it helps us leave difficult situations behind and, once the eclipse has passed, open ourselves to change and to what is new. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon aligns between the Sun and the Earth. In an annular eclipse we can see how the Moon reaches the center of the Sun; it appears smaller than the Sun and does not manage to cover it completely, which creates an effect like a ring.
