## Solar Eclipses

- **February 6, 16:00 UTC** — Annular Solar Eclipse: The solar eclipse occurs at the beginning of the New Moon. In this case the Sun and the Moon will be in Aquarius, the sign in which Pluto is also located. Aquarius is the sign of the age we are entering. It is a sign of renewal, independence and autonomy that promotes brotherhood and unity among beings of different species and, in turn, among beings and the elements, and Mother Gaia. The eclipse will occur with the Sun and Pluto in a favorable aspect with Uranus in Gemini. This means there will be a great deal of air energy in the environment. Air is our mind, which will lead us into processes of reflection. The harmonious aspect among these three planets gives us the opportunity to open ourselves to the truth that dwells in our being; it will touch intimate fibers of transformation and will pose questions to us about the meaning of our existence and our task as humanity. It will touch our dark and luminous zones. The result will lie in our capacity to move through these zones, without judgment, with immense love. Its effects will begin to be felt 48 hours before the eclipse and will remain present for the following 14 days after the eclipse. Are you ready to embrace yourself in totality? With your light and your shadow? Tiredness, low energy and a sense of weakness in the calves may appear. Grounding exercises, walking barefoot, contact with nature and drinking plenty of water will help us greatly. The eclipse is an interrupted energy that helps us let go of what we no longer desire in our life 24 hours before the eclipse and while it lasts. 24 hours after the eclipse has passed, the energy starts up renewed and we will be able to open ourselves to receive what we desire and deserve. If the eclipse’s band passes over your area, you should wait 48 hours before beginning anything important. If we know how to use it, it helps us leave difficult situations behind and, once the eclipse has passed, open ourselves to change and to what is new. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon aligns between the Sun and the Earth. In an annular eclipse we can see how the Moon reaches the center of the Sun; it appears smaller than the Sun and does not manage to cover it completely, which creates an effect like a ring. - **August 2, 10:07 UTC** — Total Solar Eclipse: At the global maximum of the eclipse, Mercury is still in Cancer. From 5:53 a.m., with its entry into Leo, the Sun, the Moon, Mercury and Venus will form a stellium in this fire sign. A stellium is a gathering of four or more positions in the same sign. These four planets will be in opposition to Pluto in Aquarius and in a favorable aspect with Neptune in Aries, generating an axis of tension between the sense of transcendence of Aquarius and the need for brilliance and recognition of Leo. This eclipse will touch our sense of importance, leading us to choose between the persona we have created or the real light that dwells within us. It will be a process of cleansing and profound transformation. Pluto will confront the ego, forcing it to examine where its real power lies: in its momentary circumstances or in the Light that dwells within it. If we turn our gaze toward Neptune, which connects us with the Innermost, the Divinity, the Higher Self, that Light will manifest. The eclipse is an interrupted energy. During the 24 hours before the eclipse, while it lasts, and up to 24 hours after the eclipse has passed, the energy is stagnant. Once those 24 hours after the eclipse have passed, the energy starts up renewed. We should not begin any important project in the indicated period. Eclipse means to hide, so whatever we begin in those moments will remain hidden. If we know how to use it, it helps us leave difficult situations behind and, once the eclipse has passed, open ourselves to change and to what is new, taking advantage of its influence. A solar eclipse occurs at the beginning of the New Moon when the Moon aligns between the Sun and the Earth. In this way we can sometimes see from Earth how the Moon hides the Sun completely or partially. A solar eclipse is total when the Moon completely hides the Sun. ## Solstices and Equinoxes

- **March 20, 20:25 UTC** — Spring Equinox: The astrological year begins. Spring Equinox. The Sun’s entry into the sign of Aries begins spring in the northern hemisphere and the astrological year. It corresponds to the spring equinox in the northern hemisphere and the autumn equinox in the southern hemisphere. Day and night will be of equal length; there is a perfect balance between light and darkness. Today many people in different places on the planet will be meditating, receiving and sending energy of love and blessings to the different places and beings of the planet. Let us connect for a few minutes during the day with the energy of unity and well-being for all beings. [view the day](https://astromooncalendar.com/en/2027/march/20)
- **June 21, 14:11 UTC** — Summer Solstice: Today we celebrate the summer solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere the winter solstice is celebrated, the longest night of the year. In the Northern Hemisphere the days will gradually become shorter, and in the Southern Hemisphere the days will gradually become longer. It is a celebration of fire and light, of the duality between light and darkness, always seeking the balance that occurs at the equinoxes. In many places on the planet there will be groups and people meditating, so let us connect with this luminous energy, with the Sun, giver of life, with Gaia, our Mother Earth, with the Source from which we all come, and let us send thoughts of love and well-being to all beings on the planet and repeat: “May all beings be happy, may all beings be blissful, may all beings be at peace. May all beings have bread, shelter and warmth for their body and nourishment for their spirit.” [view the day](https://astromooncalendar.com/en/2027/june/21)
- **September 23, 06:03 UTC** — Autumn Equinox: Today the autumn equinox is celebrated in the northern hemisphere and the spring equinox in the southern hemisphere. Today the length of light (day) and darkness (night) is the same, so let us connect with this energy of balance and devote a few minutes to praying for the planet and asking for all beings of the different planes, realms, levels and dimensions, for a planet in balance, well-being, unity and ever-greater consciousness. May all beings join together in brotherhood. Today, in different places on the planet, groups from different beliefs or practices gather with a common aim: to recognize ourselves in unity while respecting and honoring our differences. [view the day](https://astromooncalendar.com/en/2027/september/23)
- **December 21, 02:42 UTC** — Winter Solstice: It is the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the longest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is the moment of greatest darkness. Everything we need we must seek within ourselves, in that Inner Light that never goes out and that connects us to the Source, to God. The meditation for this holiday should invoke that the Inner Light illuminate our path, that we always recognize that we are united to a greater Source, and that we are all One.
