## Affirmation of the day

I choose to be happy. I take the opportunities that present themselves and joyfully open myself to the new.

## The Moon

### New Moon in Leo (until 00:02 UTC)

Leo enjoys recognition and applause; it thinks and acts on a grand scale, so this influence gives the New Moon the capacity to devise, create and begin ambitious projects. Leo reminds us of our own worth and of what we deserve in life. An excellent time to give ourselves a bath of self-esteem. It is not a good day to go shopping. Leo leads us to spend more than we should.

### New Moon in Virgo (starting at 00:02 UTC)

Positive for starting projects. Virgo does things with excellence, quality control and love of detail. That same pursuit of perfection can slow us down, since we may take far too long and forget that the clock keeps moving. The Moon in Virgo delays things.

## Aspects in force

- Uranus adverse Mars
- Neptune adverse Mercury
